I'm a 36 year old New Zealander living in London. I'm well travelled, usually with a backpack if I can, I love to learn about and see new cultures. I read a lot to, if I'm in the mood. The last book I read was a travel book called 'The Gringo Trail'. It was ok, but nothing like my favourite author, Paul Theroux. I'm reading a Steven King book at the moment, called Black House. I read the first one years ago, and this is a sequal to it, you see.
I have many hobbies. I'm a bit of a train spotter at heart...love model railways, it is my favourite hobby. I also greatly enjoy the outdoors, camping and such - although that is pretty hard to do in London, right? Back in NZ, I have a white water kayak and a mountain bike, which I miss, but I get my buzzes in other ways over here.
I enjoy musicals and concerts, or just going to the pub (occassionaly) not really a big pub goer any more, I'm mature now! I enjoy going to live sports, and I used to play rugby in NZ, but I've since 'retired'.
Did I mention travel? I love to travel. I get an energy of arriving in a new place with my backpack and a guidebook. It makes me feel alive, you know? I am doing my best to experience life instead of just letting it pass me by, but at the same time, I'm starting to think of other things now, like a house etc, but I need to save a whole lot for that.
Oh, I have been known to invent board games to. Nothing published yet, but I'm trying...
